The history
of Maison
Lepage

Normandy, the birthplace of Maison Lepage
But 1922 was truly the year Maison Lepage was born. It was at this time that Raoul and Gaston, their sons, opened stores in Le Havre and Rouen, marking the start of a family saga.
The Rouen shop, spared by the bombardments
In 1939, as war raged in Rouen, the Lepage jewellers were miraculously and symbolically spared.
It wasn't until 10 years later that it moved to rue Jeanne D'Arc to become the largest jewellery store in France..
It was also at this time that Gaston, the family's first diamond dealer, was introduced to the coveted Antwerp stock exchange. A rare privilege.

A growing family
Gaston's three children, Pierre, Jacques and Monique, joined the family business in the 50s and 60s, opening a third establishment in Lille.
The fourth generation, led by Valérie and Jean-Pierre, joined the family business a few years later to take charge of shops in Lille, Rouen and Le Havre.
The digital era
Sébastien, Julie and Edouard, the fifth in the family, will be opening a whole new chapter in our history. The digital chapter. 2010 will see the launch of the very first specialist e-commerce site in France.
This pioneering position was consolidated in 2016 with the development of 3D jewellery design and printing.

The story continues
Today, Lepage continues to write its history in line with contemporary trends and developments.
With the return of the Lepage collections in 2019, our jewellery house is perpetuating its heritage through almost a century of excellent craftsmanship.
